Wednesday October 20th: Eliot Lazor
Wednesday October 27th: The Dukes (@m + KF)
What began innocently years ago as a friendly session of back-to-back djing between two young music addicts, quickly grew into an inspiring partnership...and 'The Dukes' became a regular affair. The Dukes have risen quickly to the forefront of Toronto's latest generation of dj/musicians. The Dukes' passion for music and performing has earned them both incredibly positive hype and the kind of loyal following that few achieve. They've been voted Toronto's Best Upcoming DJ's in Eye Magazine's annual city-wide voters poll, headlined sets at all of Toronto's top clubs including the world-famous Guvernment Nightclub (www.theguvernment.com), and been billed alongside many major international acts such as Joey Beltram, Ellen Allien, Ken Ishii, Woody McBride, Christian Smith, John Selway, Aril Brikha, Mateo Murphy and Matthew Herbert. As their reputation spreads, they've been called to entertain audiences across Ontario and out to places such as Halifax and New York City, with more international gigs on the horizon. Currently The Dukes are composing their own original material, have just released their much anticipated second major CD project, Let's Get Cocky! and a live show to be reckoned with.
Wednesday November 3rd: Eric Downer
Eric Downer has been a dj since he can remember and has no major surgery on the horizon. For years Downer has played the majority of amazing - respectable /or otherwise- techno parties in the city of Toronto. He has been a long-time resident at Fukhouse parties, as well as Ritual in the past, and is currently a member of the Pusher Collective. For more info on Eric Downer visit: http://pusher.foundationmusic.com or check www.fukhouse.ca where he also has a set available for download. It will be a pleasure to have him play a set for the Die Maschine radio show, so make sure you tune in!

Call us when we announce our give-aways. Studio Line: 416-946-7000
Eliot Lazor had his humble beginning in Toronto's word-of-mouth after-hour scene and discreet nightclubs some 5 or so years ago. Working diligently at his craft, unseen by the status quo of club jocks existing in the city at the time, Eliot sought to become better than rest, worrying little about what said status quo were getting excited about and concentrating solely on gaining a knowledge of music and a DJing skill that now far exceeds his local peers, and arguably many of his global ones. Eliot works at one of Toronto's finest records shops, Kops, providing many of the kids who once had trouble remembering his name with beats the likes of which their ears have scarcely heard. (It's been said more than once that Eliot deals the best beats in town). WEB: www.kopsrecords.com

Guest DJ: Jeremy P. Caulfield (Dumb-Unit) visiting from Germany!
Along with Adam Marshall of Killer, Jeff Milligan of Revolver, Ian Guthrie of Fukhouse and Justin of Alienflux, Jeremy was instrumental in developing Toronto's rich techno and deep house scene in the mid to late nineties. Today, he continues to push the Canadian electronic scene forward alongside many of Canada's respected artists, producers and organizers. However, rather than blowing onto the international circuit as some over-hyped star, Jeremy has instead quietly infiltrated the ranks of the techno scene with an edgy and immediately recognizable sound. His live sets have graced the MUTEK festival (Montreal) and at his residency at FUKHOUSE (Toronto). His productions have been featured on such labels as WARE, WMF, TRAPEZ. In Germany "THE CITIES EP" hit # 23 in the GROOVE magazine charts and his WMF release was voted by GROOVE as the best release ever (additionally it was licensed to a FABRIC cd) . As of late, Jeremy has a new EP "Cavalcade" coming out this January 2005, and a new mix CD out in April 2005 on Dumb-Unit and Kompakt. From Toronto to Berlin, Paris to Vienna Jeremy is renowned as a smooth rocking DJ with a signature style that has been gaining him many fans across the glob

January 5th, 2005: Steve Bug Interview Airing - NEW! + more good music... Steve Bug is the founder of Pokerflat Recordings. His Dj career started in 1991 and he has played at nearly all the famous clubs and events since then. Tune in to hear what he had to say after he played his gig at 99 Sudbury in Toronto...
January 12th: Tim Patrick is our guest in the studio Whether you're immersed in the journey on the dance floor or fixated on his delicate mixing strategies from behind the decks, you can see and hear that Tim Patrick is one of those rare, inspirational DJs who can motivate his crowds to successive levels of excitement. 2004 was a groundbreaking year with the launch of Tim Patrick and Paranoid Jack's Fifth Sun Recordings. The first release in June 2004, Paranoid Jack's 'The World Must Change' took the globe by storm with heavy support from Sasha, John Aquaviva, Eddie Amador, Low End Specialists, SaeedYounan and Timo Maas but to name a few. The second release, Jon Delerious' 'New Jack Hustlin', featuring a Paranoid Jack & Tim Patrick remix, quickly followed the footsteps of the first release-reaching number 1 on the Balance DJ Pool Record Chart and maintaining support from top DJs all over the globe. Future releases include Tonepushers 'Falling' with Valentino K remix and Tim Patrick's solo EP debut. January 19th, Mike D is our guest dj. Mike D aka Dj Syke has been pumpin' the tech house sounds in Toronto for over a decade. His tech heavy turntable stylings mixed with his turntablist hip hop roots gives Mike D a style that is all his own. Combine this with his enthusiastic approach to his craft, Mike D has quickly made himself a Torontofavourite. Playing almost every major event space in the city, Mike D has shared bills with the likes of JesperDahlback, Tiga and Brett Johnson, just to name a few. The last year has seen Mike D step up to the plate and rock such parties as Fukhouse, Activate, Libralove, Solma/Geometry and Hustlin' events, all Toronto heavy weights in the electronic music scene, while still maintaining a humble approach to his blossoming career. Mike D is best at peak hours, as you can tell by the crowds and local promoters that repeatedly continue to support him. djsyke@msn.com
